Ways You May Qualify for Fee Subsidy on Counselling Services
We offer various avenues for potential subsidy to make our services even more accessible:
- Coverage Through Your Health Benefit Provider – Check if your health benefits plan covers Registered Social Workers (RSW) under counselling services.
- Direct Billing – We provide direct billing to Green Shield, Sunlife, Manulife, Canada Life, Chambers/Johnston Group, Desjardins, First Canadian Insurance Corporation, and IA, simplifying the payment process for you.
- First Nations – We offer services funded by the First Nations Health Authority (FNHA) to status First Nations individuals.
- Métis Nation British Columbia (MNBC) Métis Counselling Connections program (MCC)
- Arcora Employee Assistance Program
- WorkBC / Skills Centre – If mental health is a barrier to finding or maintaining employment, WorkBC or Skills Centre may offer support to cover counselling fees.
- Medavie Blue Cross – Canadian Armed Forces, RCMP, Veterans Affairs Canada
- British Columbia Emergency Health Services – BCEHS CIS
- CVAP – Crime Victims Assistance Program approved claimants (or similar program in the province the crime occurred). Available to direct and indirect victims
- ICBC – If you are approved for counselling due to an MVA
- MCFD – Autism funding; SAJE
- Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) – CUPE members
- No tax – no GST as social work in a clinical setting is considered a medical expense; can also be claimed if on PWD on income taxes.

Our Fee Structure

$175 for a 50-minute session. $225 for 75-minute session
Individual Counselling Session
$175 for a 50-minute session
Energy Clearing (reiki with Reiki Grandmaster, soul retrieval, cord/entity clearing)
Sliding Scale $160-$200 for 75-minute session
